What do you need to do as a victim of false advertising?
Take a screenshot or recording of the misleading advertisement. The law covers radio, television and magazine ads as well as those on the internet. It doesn’t matter what the medium is, just that it was deceptive. Also, you should keep records of any receipts and conversations you have had with the seller. Write down an estimate of the losses you suffered, including those which are non-monetary. .
